There are incredible opportunities for debt-free career training in the skilled construction trades. Oregon Tradeswomen, a Portland nonprofit organization, produces our annual Career Fair to connect career seekers with job openings, apprenticeships, and other training opportunities with local companies and organizations.
This hands-on event offers an introduction to the jobs, skills, and benefits of a career in the trades. Participants can learn new skills in hands-on workshops, try out tools and equipment, meet employers, talk with successful tradeswomen, make things to take home, and find out about high-paying, high-demand careers.
