Earth Day Oregon is a statewide collective campaign to amplify the impact of Earth Day by driving donations to the nonprofit organizations in our community that work to create a sustainable world.
On April 22nd, the world celebrates the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. In Oregon, businesses are marking the occasion with donations to Earth Day Oregon Nonprofit Partners. Any nonprofit that advances the Sustainable Development Goals, identified by the United Nations in 2015, was able to register as a Nonprofit Partner.
Over fifty Nonprofit Partners have joined the Earth Day Oregon campaign. Each Nonprofit Partner invites at least five businesses to participate by donating directly to their organization. Before Earth Day arrives, there should be 250+ Business Partners on board.
Behind the scenes, Earth Day Oregon is run by teams of community volunteers who are working to make the campaign a success by coordinating messaging through the website, social media, press releases, and posters.
