December 9th from 2 to 7 pm
Portland has a tremendous amount of talented artisans. These members of our community create beautiful arts, crafts and handmade goods which we’re able to wear and use in our lives.
These local artists will be showing and selling their work this holiday season at many craft fairs throughout Portland. Consider giving the gift of a local, handmade item this season. Buying these goods supports their work and allows artisans to continue creating Portland-based goods.
One holiday craft fair coming up is at People’s Food Co-op, which will feature handmade arts, crafts and foodstuffs. Take a look at jewelry, find a new snack in the store, visit with friends and enjoy a cup of hot cocoa. It will take place upstairs in our Community Room and the best part is that it’s free and open to all.
People’s Food Co-op is a passionate community working together for sustainability, progressive land and animal stewardship, human rights, and social and economic justice. And this is just one of the many ways in which they are working to serve local artists and businesses here in PDX.
Save the date, share with your friends!
