Live entertainment, family-friendly activities and more than 130 vendors selling art crafted from recycled items will highlight the ninth annual Recycled Arts Festival.
Show your support for our environment at this summer’s coolest eco-friendly festival in the Pacific Northwest by heading to Vancouver for some fun.
The free event, will be held in Esther Short Park at West Eighth and Esther Streets in downtown Vancouver, adjacent to the Vancouver Farmers Market. Hours are 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Saturday, June 28, and 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Sunday, June 29.
Artists will display and sell items designed from reused and reclaimed materials. Items include metal, glass and porcelain garden art, recycled paper books and cards, handbags made from album covers, reclaimed turned wood sculptures, furniture, and birdfeeders, and jewelry and clocks made from vinyl records and wall art from reclaimed bicycle parts.
In addition to the artists and their wares, the festival offers onstage entertainment, musicians, stilt walkers, jugglers and clowns.
