Go Green 2013

Go Green Organizers state that “Oregon is making a name for itself when it comes to delicious, well made, and innovative goods that just happen to be sustainably produced. Homegrown brands like Ninkasi, Pacific Pie Company, Spooltown and Plywerk prove that a triple bottom line approach can work across the spectrum of industries and size of organization. In partnership with Supportland, we’re proud to showcase these four businesses next Tuesday at GoGreen Portland! Join us to learn how these Made in Oregon businesses have found real world success by staying true to the people/planet/profit model.”
A complete list of presenters can be found on the Go Green site: http://portland.gogreenconference.net

Mayor Hales will address Portland’s growing economic opportunities resulting from investment in sustainability as a core development strategy, and Mark Mykleby’s presentation will be based on concepts presented in his 2012 article, A Strategic Narrative by Mr. Y, as they relate to issues in the Pacific Northwest and Portland economic and bio-regions.
GoGreen brings together organizational leaders from across sectors and industries annually under a distinctly regional lens in order to forge meaningful connections, advance solutions and share transferable lessons that support the success of triple bottom line endeavors.
